Rooms are basic as expected but when you are located this central, you shouldn't be stuck in your room but outside exploring. Daegu is an amazing city, easy to love, just like this hotel. It has all the basics you need with helpful staff. If I were to point out small things, the differences between the reception staff is very noticeable. This establishment is in my book nevertheless a hidden gem in Daegu. Considering price, location, accessibility and overall size of the room. It covers all of this better than its more expensive competitors. They offer a simple but effective breakfast, it covers the morning hunger. I would without a doubt stay here again!

I stayed at Toyoko Inn for 4 nights. The room itself was spacious. The bathroom was small but totally okay for one person. The bathroom also had floor heating and the room itself was really warm which was good since I visited in December. The bed was also comfy. The location was perfect - right in downtown Daegu with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants around. Even though the hotel is located in a busy area there are no loud noises. The staff was very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage in reception after check-out. There was also a breakfast buffet which was also good.

Fine if you don’t plan on spending any amount of time in your room. You are very close to restaurants and night life but you’ll need to venture out if you want to do anything more. Breakfast is extremely limited and not as advertised. Continental was on the ad but it was a very limited offering of food. My room was also advertised as having a hot tub (which I expected was a large bathtub) but there was a very tiny bathtub instead. What really bothered me were that some of the amenities like a humidifier and kettle did not have outlets that let them sit comfortably on the suite desk. I had to sit a kettle on the floor and the humidifier was essentially useless. Also the fridge did not work even though it was plugged in. Service was mid. I asked if there was a possibility of upgrading my suite and my question was ignored. I was given a good low-down of the (again very flawed) amenities and that was it. Cleaning services require you to be out of suite for five hours which I’ve never experienced. Overall it was fine. If you’re looking for fine, this is your joint.

The hotel is near Banwoldang subway from exit 13 (no need to worry about staircase), easy access to places. There are alot of restaurants and cafes and shopping nearby. 29 aug to 4 sep 2025 is korea sale. The room is clean and near to lift. Breakfast is provided in this hotel. 7am to 9.30am. There is a staff, his name is Taeho Jung, he is so helpful and friendly, always has a smile on his cute face. Give him plus. Hope next time able to stay in this hotel. There are 3 washers (2000₩), 3 dryer (1000₩). Same level as the reception and breakfast place.

I really like their latte from the coffee machine which is the best coffee I had in my whole trip in Korea. The guy at the reception is more helpful and friendly compared to the ladies. If possible just avoid the ladies when you want to deal at the reception.

it's near many shops. I tried a few of the nearby bakery and they are all very delicious. Hotel room is spacious. Very clean. and with bidet. apparently they have coin laundry available but I did not try it. breakfast is very japanese style. delicious but simple. it's a fusion of Japanese-korean food. overall i enjoy staying here.

Always had a good stay at this place - location couldn't be more perfect, right at the city centre next to shops! I also appreciate the free, nutritious breakfast. Staffs were helpful, they told us how to claim tax return on the fee, as well as how to save money on parking - thank you! Affordable price, all things considered.
