I really liked staying at Sejong Hotel because the triple room felt roomy and comfortable, which made a big difference. Having a bed each was especially nice, and the view over Myeongdong and the Cathedral added to the stay. The location is another big plus — being right by the station and close to the airport limousine bus stop made getting around very easy. I’d happily stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently local near to Myeongdong station, opposite the 12th storey Daiso and walking distance to Nandaemum. Being an old setting hotel, the room is bigger than the newer hotels nearby. Do expect minimum service from front desk. Lobby area used to be pleasant but now very messy due to the demonstration against the management for downsizing.

Nice hotel, employees are doing a good job, and price (for Seoul) was inline with others. But the hotel is now a bit old inside, air cooling wasn’t working great, paints are scratched, air dryer not drying… those type of things.

Location is really dated. Air conditioner was controlled by the hotel but even after turning it in it didn't seem to work at all rumbled and screeched most of the night. It seemed like garbage was piled up about 5 feet high in front of the building due to a protest as the hotel has completely layed off most if its staff. If you open the windows mosquitos will eat you alive as noone is doing the landscaping outside the windows. Will not return to this location again. It is right in front of the station is the one positive.

Comfortable stay and the location is strategic, near Myeongdong shopping street and train station and just across Daiso. Our room also had a nice view of Namsan Tower. We visited during winter so the heated toilet seats were definitely appreciated!

Location was really good. Room service was half hearted, alot of dust. Old hotel need. Price is affordable - you get what you pay. Stayed here for four nights. Won't come back again.

Rooms are spacious with every basic things in it. Best nightlife around the Hotel with Streets full of lights. All restaurants and shopping centres are just 2 km around the Sejong Hotel. Must stay for longer period.

Love this hotel for the spacious and clean triple room! We each get our own super single bed. And we have the view of Myeongdong city and the Cathedral. Location is superb! Right outside Myeongdong station exit 10 and the airport limousine bus stop is just 2 minutes walk

The main reasons to choose this hotel are for the price and location. In terms of room quality, you can expect the bare minimum. $400+ sgd for 3 nights right outside one of the exits of Myeongdong Station is really worth it. Initial impression from entering the hotel feels a little tacky from all the glimmering gold and wood but it gives a old classy kind of vibe. Not sure if it was just me but there was a persistent smell similar to insect spray lingering in the lobby like a natural scent. The bed was quite tough, space was kind of squeezy to open up luggages but just enough. Toilet was a sore point though. The basin was too low and due to the space constraint, the door opens into the basin area. Bath tub is also designed such that lots of water collect outside the tub after showering so the floor can get quite wet. Gym was alright with the typical equipment, but the route there was weird. You had to go via the luggage storage area at the lobby and not at main lobby lift. There was no self-laundry, only laudry service available, which was a shame. Overall, expecations must be managed for being a 3-star hotel.
