Topface was recommended to me by my cousin who had her procedures done Spring of 2023. I’m 42, live in CA, and had to resort to communicating with a consultant via Kakaotalk. The consultant/interpreter was very helpful and kind. I had to submit photos and we discussed what procedures I was interested in. Fast forward, I got to Korea, met with the surgeon and explained I would like to correct the asymmetric folds of my eyes and address the large under eye bags. He asked what my main concern was re: the eye folds and I replied my existing double eyelids made me feel as though my face was uneven. He reassured me that my eyes are in fact even and doing double eye lid surgery would probably make my face look unnatural. Dr. Lee did make a suggestion for a forehead lift but I was not mentally prepared for this unexpected recommendation. He said I still have time and can do it later (which I might do 😆). We went ahead and went with the under eye blepharoplasty with a small lift at the side of my face. It’s been 5.5 weeks post procedure and I’m loving the results. The swelling did take about 4 weeks to go down and I now feel like myself again. I truly loved my experience with Topface. Dr. Lee and Racheal were kind and not pushy. Nursing staff and stitch removal was gentle. I’d recommend Topface 100%.

Coming from Canada for a revision double eyelid surgery! I did my first surgery in canada back in 2007 and realized it was about time to properly get it re-done since it was uneven and i wanted more of a longer pointier look to my eyes. I consulted with 7 clinics and Top face, Rachael (translator with Top Face) was the sweetest and most caring person i was able to speak with. She answered all my questions I asked (many times) and assured me she will keep passing on my requests to the doctor. Dr. Shim was the doctor I specifically wanted to do my surgery and Rachael was able to make it happen for me! she also provided me with reminders about what to prepare for so I would not have any issues by the time I arrived to Korea. The clinic is very clean and organized. The staff were professional and quick with their work. The consultation with Dr. Shim was very very thorough, making sure we were both on the same page. He explained everything to me, from the eye muscles, healing, to how he would go about doing the procedure. He was honest and listened to me. He genuinely wanted to give me the best results with the idea I have in mind. His calming, positive energy helped me feel very relaxed and reassured. He was understanding and was not pushy at all even when I wanted to opt out on one part of the surgery that he suggested. We stuck with the initial plan. Rachael was there by my side the entire time making sure everything I wanted to ask was conveyed to the doctor and she translated everything for me. I really appreciate their patience and dedication to help me feel comfortable before the surgery commenced. Rachael was very sweeet to help me book in more de swelling treatments as I told her my wedding was in June (surgery was done in April). It has almost been 2 months of healing. I am happy with how my eyes are slowly looking! I am excited to see it at its full recovery at 6 months! I am happy I made the choice with Top face to redo my eyelids before my wedding! I researched many clinics that specialize in double eyelid revision, and discovered Top Face through their Instagram and Gangnam Unni reviews. I wanted to lower my crease and found similar cases to mine that were performed by Dr. Jae Sun Shim. After several face-to-face consultations with other clinics, I chose Top Face to have my surgery, as Dr. Shim was very positive and willing to work with my complicated case. Plus, their entire staff and English translator Rachael were welcoming and supportive. They made sure the entire pre-op, surgery, and post-op processes were clearly communicated. I was very nervous on the day of surgery (who wouldn’t be!), but again, Rachael, the admin/medical teams, and Dr. Shim all worked together to calm my nerves and talked me through the entire process. They were attentive in the post-operative care and answered all my questions and concerns. My eyes are healing nicely, and the thick sausage lids have significantly reduced. I loved my experience at Top Face and would recommend this clinic for anyone seeking double eyelid surgery or double eyelid revision!

I am very satisfied with the excellent surgical results. The doctor's personality, sincerity of mind, and good judgment and skill. The inside of the hospital is a little less clean than in Japan, but the staff's attention to detail made me feel at ease during the surgery. It was worth the trouble of coming all the way from Japan. I would choose this clinic again for other surgeries.
