They are experts in MRI interpretation and diagnosis and provide excellent explanations on whether or not to have surgery. They are considerate and kind to the patient, so I was able to have the surgery without any anxiety. The hospital is large and clean. I had been struggling with a herniated disc for a while and visited out of desperation. They said non-surgical treatment would be fine, so I even scheduled an appointment. The doctor has a lot of experience in this field, and the hospital seems like a good place.

[Medical Technology] I received medical treatment for pain on the inside of my left knee and was diagnosed with 'proximal tibial (bowed leg) osteotomy.' After receiving the diagnosis that surgery was necessary, I was naturally worried. I searched the internet and found that Barunsesang Hospital had excellent research achievements, such as a paper on bowleg osteotomy being published in the world-renowned journal *The Knee*. That is why I decided to have the surgery performed by Director Kyung Bong-soo. Director Kyung Bong-soo is someone who is dedicated to research, performs surgeries well, and heals even the depressed hearts of patients by explaining things kindly to each and every one of them with a warm smile. As we age, our hearts become softer, so even a single affectionate word can put us at ease. It is not easy for doctors, who are constantly under tension, to treat patients with a smile like that, but Director Kyung Bong-soo was an outstanding physician who did his best for every patient. I was hospitalized for two weeks after the surgery. I am in my early 50s, but perhaps because there are so many elderly patients in orthopedics, it was the first time I had ever heard someone say I was young. People come from all over the country to have surgery at Barunsesang Hospital. There was even a mother who came all the way from Ulleungdo. An elderly patient in their 90s also underwent surgery there. That shows just how prestigious the orthopedic department is. Medical technology seems to have advanced significantly. Listening to the feedback from the elderly patients, I heard their progress was very good. As a result, my vague aversion to surgery has disappeared. [Systematic System] I prefer specialized hospitals over university hospitals. This is because 'orthopedic' care can be provided professionally. Since there is a systematic internal system in place, everything proceeded quickly and accurately. (It felt even more systematic than Samsung Seoul Hospital.) Elderly patients tend to be impatient, but I was satisfied that everything proceeded smoothly before I even had to ask. [Integrated Nursing and Care Service] As it was operated, the hospital room was spacious and comfortable to use, and it was actually nice to be able to share information about each other's conditions with other patients. It was great that they provided facilities and support for everything patients found uncomfortable, from shampooing their hair to meals. (When guardians visit, the space becomes cramped and there are many inconveniences such as noise. I highly recommend the integrated ward!!) [Hospital Costs] It seems that surgery costs vary from hospital to hospital. Although it varies by individual, the prices at Barunsesang Hospital seemed reasonable. Regarding the pre-surgery tests... They performed everything meticulously due to the large volume of patients, and although there were many post-operative treatments, I felt that the surgery costs were affordable compared to other hospitals. I suspect that the high volume of patients at this hospital influences the medical expenses. University hospitals are naturally more expensive, and when I roughly checked the costs of other hospitals famous for bowleg osteotomy, they were higher than Barunsesang Hospital. [Ward Rooms] In the 8-bed wards, there is a TV at every individual bed, so you can listen with earphones. After surgery, you stay in the 8-bed ward for a few days, after which you are transferred to the rehabilitation ward and moved to a 2-4 bed room. In the rehabilitation ward, TVs are only available in the lounge area, not in the patient rooms. They said this was done to encourage a lot of rehabilitation exercises. The hallway in the rehabilitation ward is wide and long, so patients do rehabilitation exercises walking with walkers or wheelchairs in the hallway. They say there aren't many hospitals where rehabilitation exercises can be done so conveniently. [Staff Service] The wards, rehabilitation therapy room, meal service, cleaning, and examination rooms were very satisfactory. As for the surgery consultation and reception, perhaps because they have to handle such a large number of people, the explanations were fast, but a bit The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. I liked that the process was fast. I was very satisfied with my stay in the rehabilitation ward. Please refer patients who wish to receive further rehabilitation to other rehabilitation hospitals. Barunsesang Hospital was a specialized orthopedic hospital that I was satisfied with in every aspect and would highly recommend to others.

I think this is the best hospital for joint care. I can't even count how many people I know have had surgery here and whose lives have become so much easier. Parking is tight and difficult, but since they offer free valet parking for all visitors, it is very convenient and nice. Thank you always.
