BGSS Eye Clinic did an incredible job from my initial interest request, throughout the entire procedure, and even the post surgery check ups. I was interested in either SMILE or ICL surgery. When I arrived, they ran a battery of tests (took about an hour), and then had an in depth consultation (in both English and Korean) explaining the pros and cons of both. I did not feel pressured to choose a more expensive option and all their recommendations were tied to my exam results. I ended up getting V-Toric ICL in my right eye (due to a high level of astigmatism) and Evo+ ICL in my left the same afternoon as the tests. Recovery has been very easy and they have explained the post surgery care process in depth. I especially want to express my gratitude to Jenny who was my translator and coordinator from start to finish. She spent the entire day explaining everything, translating, and advocating for me. She was present over Whatsapp even prior to the consultation date, and set up my post procedure follow up appointments, making sure to be present then as well. The pricing was very reasonable at about a quarter of what I expected to pay in the States. I could not recommend this clinic more for corrective eye surgery!!!

Decided to go with BGSS for my ZEISS SMILE PRO + CXL surgery from a friend’s recommendation and it was indeed one of the best life-changing decision ever. My surgery was performed by Dr Je Myung Lee who was professional and encouraging throughout. I had the surgery on day 3 of my trip and by the next day, I was able to go around freely with clear vision! It was amazing to recover in Korea as well, surrounded by nature and the greenery around. Went back for a follow up on the last day of my trip (~6 days after the surgery) and everything was good as expected. Vision was 20/16 and I can even get medical certificates and full report in English for my trip back to Singapore in case of any follow up. Last but not least, a special shoutout to Yong and Devon, who has been really kind and a great presence around for the whole day (which really helps to calm the nerves)! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any friends and family who would like to perform eye surgery to do it here at BGSS. 👍🏼

I had a fantastic experience visiting Seoul and getting surgery done with BGSS Eye Clinic. They were very easy to get in contact with to schedule my procedure. I decided to get the Zeiss SMILE Pro with CXL procedure done with Dr. Sang-Il Ahn and I am very happy with the results. The whole team was very welcoming and professional. They also arranged to have a nurse who spoke English to accompany me throughout all the eye examinations done and during the actual procedure, which made the experience much more comfortable as a foreigner. My nurse, Jenny, also assisted me with arranging a taxi back to my hotel. I heavily recommend getting eye surgery done here while visiting South Korea.

I underwent an EVO+ Aqua ICL surgery with Dr.Sang-Il Ahn yesterday. Everything went smoothly despite my nerves prior to the procedure. The eye examination was done very thoroughly to ensure the patient’s safety. The staff are friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Yong, my English translator who made every interaction easy and seamless. I also appreciate how they are transparent with the pricing. If you are a US military affiliated person living in Pyeongtaek, they have a free shuttle to the clinic on the surgery day. Super convenient and foreigner friendly.

I recently underwent the ZEISS SMILE Pro with CXL procedure at BGSS Eye Clinic, and the entire experience was extremely professional and well organized. On the day of the procedure, I first had a comprehensive eye examination that lasted about an hour to determine whether I was a good candidate for the surgery. The staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful, and many of them spoke great English. A special thank you to Yong Kim, who served as my translator and stayed with me throughout the entire day (even during the procedure) to make sure I clearly understood the doctor’s instructions and felt comfortable the whole time. After the surgery, my eyes were painful for a few hours, but by the time I woke up from a short rest, the pain had completely subsided and my vision was already very clear. It has now been a week, and my vision continues to improve. After wearing contact lenses and glasses for over 10 years, it feels amazing to wake up each morning with 20/20 vision and healthy eyes.

I was nervous before, but it turned out way easier than I imagined. As a foreigner in Korea, I also really appreciated how foreigner-friendly the clinic was, with clear explanations and an organized system that made everything easy and reassuring. Overall, it was quick, professional, and far less scary than I expected.

Thank you to Dr. jong ho Lee for performing my evo icl eye surgery. I was very nervous but very glad I did the surgery. The process was super efficient as all the testing was in house and on the same day. This is the thing with Korea medical - everything they do is so smooth, seamless, efficient and detailed. You just can’t Mimic that here in the states due to all the red tape. I want to thank Devon for providing me all the information as I planned for the surgery and Estelle for being with me throughout the surgery process. 做的蔡司全飛秒（SMILE）近視矯正，術前檢查真的很細，角膜、瞳孔、度數穩定性都會反覆確認，不符合條件也會直接說不建議做。醫生在面診時把全飛秒和半飛秒的差別講得很清楚，沒有刻意引導升級專案。手術過程很快，基本幾分鐘就結束，術後恢復比我預期順利，隔天視力就很穩定。

在这家做的飞秒激光近视手术，术前检查非常详细，光检查就花了挺长时间，会先确认角膜条件、度数稳定情况，不是随便就让你上手术。医生面诊时把飞秒激光和其他近视矫正方式的差异讲得很清楚，也会直接说适不适合做。整个过程给人的感觉是偏严谨、专业，不是那种流水线操作。

Was introduced by a family member to get V toric ICL procedure done to correct my vision. Parking is available right behind the building with option to valet or use their elevator style parking garage. Valet fee was 5000 won while parking garage was free after validation from the clinic. The clinic is spread out over few floors with 2nd floor housing most of surgery/post surgery recovery space. Place was spacious and clean. Most of the staffs were friendly and attentive. Went through pretty extensive evaluation steps to accurately measure my eye conditions with optician Park Jaehoon & was well consulted before proceeding to get surgery. I got my procedure done by Dr MoonGun. Procedure took about 20 min per eye and overall surgery/recovery took little over 2 hours. They have recommended follow up visit timeline for patients with most requiring at least 3 visits within the first month of surgery. So far, I am happy with my result and am looking forward to my follow up visits.

在江南区宣陵路，之前也看过韩国其它的眼科，但我感觉这家技术，医生更负责，做的激光近视，视力现在正常，再次摘掉眼镜，看到清晰世界，真的别提多开心啦
