Paying around ¥4,000 per night for 7 nights turned out to be one of the biggest travel mistakes I’ve ever made.

This is exactly what the basement room looked like at check-in. Although the toilet and shower are separate, you don’t even need to open the bathroom door to smell it. A strong sewer odor mixed with what smelled like sewage and feces filled the room. The smell was unbearable, and there was visible mold in multiple places.

The floors were covered with hair and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The shared lounge was in complete chaos, with belongings and clutter piled everywhere. It looked neglected rather than simply “lived in.”

¥4,000 for a bed in a 4-bed dorm? Give me a break. This feels like a scam.

I honestly cannot understand how this guesthouse has such high cleanliness ratings on Booking.com and Agoda. Many reviews give it 9/10 or even 10/10 for cleanliness, which is completely inconsistent with what I experienced.

Instead of feeling comfortable, I was genuinely worried about getting sick from staying here. The hygiene standards are Unacceptable, and I don't understand how this place is allowed to operate under these conditions.

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I honestly think you'd have a better experience sleeping almost anywhere than staying here.

Booking seven nights at approximately 4,000 yen per night was one of the biggest mistakes of my travel life.

This is the condition of the basement room immediately after check-in. The toilet and shower are separate, but even without opening the door, the room was filled with a foul odor of sewage and drains, mixed with a smell like filth and feces. The smell was terrible, and mold was growing everywhere.

There was hair on the floor, and no signs of cleaning. The shared lounge was also cluttered, like a storage room.

4,000 yen for a four-person dormitory room with bunk beds? That's ridiculous. This is scam level.

Booking.com and Agoda give this place a high rating of 9 or higher for "cleanliness," but what I actually saw was completely different. I seriously doubt it's the same place.

Far from being comfortable, I was genuinely worried about catching a disease in that environment. The sanitary conditions were extremely serious, and I can't believe they're even operating in this state.

Absolutely do not stay here. I strongly recommend finding a different place to stay.

太糟糕了，千万别来住！太可怕了！千万别住这里！

除了地理位置，其他一切都糟透了。

1. 上下铺房间在地下室。

2. 四人间只有两个储物柜，而且没有锁，安全系数为零。所有贵重物品都得放在行李箱里，非常不方便。

3. 每张床上都没有灯。只能靠手机照明，或者等别人关灯。

4. 房间里堆放着不属于任何客人的私人物品。好几个大包和行李箱塞满了房间，感觉像住在储藏室里一样，非常不舒服。

5. 有些人已经住了好几个月了。和他们合住简直是噩梦。他们占满了大部分的挂钩、衣架和储物柜。

6. 公共休息室超级脏乱。到处东西堆得乱七八糟，简直像个车库。

7. 他们把前门密码直接写在门上，完全没道理。安全措施为零。

8. 床和床架之间有头发和灰尘，非常脏。

9. 我预订的是四人间（女生房）的上下铺。他们给我的房间和Booking.com上的图片完全不一样。我投诉后，他们保证从第二晚开始给我安排和网站上一样的房间。然而，第二天我搬到新房间时，发现房间一团糟，地上到处都是垃圾。看来他们在让我入住前根本没检查过房间。

为弘大商圈，闹中取静，往8号出口有更多美食。房型算大，还有沙发，沙发垫红红的，房东就立马来换，若能把床垫都改为弹簧床为满分啊！第一天逛街住宿晚了，热水也没了，好在是夏天，房东也一早就来调整。居住4晚，有一天下雨，提供爱心伞，非常方便！

One of the worst hostel. Grumpy service, it's 11 min from station so you still need to pull luggage. Also really hard to search. Small bed, stain sheet and the cover feels scratchy. Place is not clean. They probably can't afford to hire or don't bother hiring cleaners.

There is no curfew or silent hour (I guess the owner doesn't care) so constant noise, thin wall and literally vibration between floors (there's basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd) with people coming in for check in at 2am - it is worst place to sleep. Third world country experience.

The only plus is laundry which is 500 yen including washer and dryer - but someone is literally doing laundry all the time.

作为背包客，非常非常失望

Nice location and staff. It's only a 10-minute walk to the metro. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is clean, and the size is reasonable.

The only downside is that the restroom has an unpleasant odor.

Great place to stay with friends, secure, good location not too far from popular areas and the dorms have their own separate shower and toilet, there's a shared kitchen (not that clean), washer, dryer and there are some inexpensive drinks/snacks you can purchase in the lobby. The toilet in our room wasn't the cleanest and the shower was blocked but host came to change the shower filter straight away. There's 3 floors with no lift so you will struggle if you have large/heavy luggage or if you get the half basement room you will need to leave the window open at all hours otherwise the room gets humid/stuffy and smelly, just leave the blinds down halfway as people can see into the room from the street.

A very good place to stay in during your holidays. The hostel is very near from hongdae fashion street and from metro Station. Very convenient. The hostel is very clean, I was in a 4 women room and it was very quiet! The staff is also very nice! If I go back to seoul again, I'll rent a bed there once again.
